Review XPERIA X10 de Sony Ericcson

XPERIA X10 , the first Sony Ericcson terminal with Android

It is expected that during this first quarter of 2010 Sony Ericsson serve on sale its first handset with Android operating system, the XPERIA X10 wich will be available in two color: black and white.

Aesthetically stand out its large 4.0 inch screen which occupies practically the entire front of the phone and the friendly feel of the rubber cap that covers the back. Technically it is noteworthy that features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which gives exceptional speed in performance.

If we talk about the applications, the most relevant is that this mobile beside the basics as access to Gmail, Google Talk, Android Market or Play Now, among others, has the ability to access the trendiest social networks and two new characteristics:

• Mediascape: A service that brings together on one page all the music, photos and videos from our mobile, we might say that is a kind of “library” digital.
• Timescape: unifies in a single screen updates social networks, e-mail, phone calls, text messages…
It’s really useful for those who need to monitor many information sources

Another peculiarity is that it can get charge through your computer via USB-MicroUSB or through the current with an adapter (shown in the video).

The worst of the XPERIA is how short the battery lasts. If you spend the day with the phone in the ear or surfing the Internet, like me, you have to carry the charger into your bag and if its size is a handicap, which we assume for the great benefits of the big screen, to go with the cable up and down does not get along so well.

As for the interface that Sony Ericsson has created for XPERIA, under my point of view, is chaotic at times, but in general is quite intuitive and works well.

Related to the price of XPERIA X10, nothing is clear, but they talk between 600 and 900 euros. We will see what remains.
